  • Elizabeth Herbst-Brady, Snap's head of global strategic partnerships, is leaving the company.
  • Herbst-Brady's departure comes a little more than two months after Kristen O'Hara, Snap's former vice president of US global business solutions, left the company.
  • Herbst-Brady is the latest in a string of executives to leave Snap in recent months.

Elizabeth Herbst-Brady, Snap's head of global strategic partnerships, is leaving the company after two years, Business Insider has learned.

She managed agency relationships and key accounts for Snap and previously served as head of New York ad sales for the company. Before joining Snap, she was executive vice president of ad-sales strategy at Viacom.

A Snap spokesperson confirmed the news to Business Insider, but Herbst-Brady was not immediately available for comment.

Herbst-Brady's departure comes a little more than two months after fellow sales executive Kristen O'Hara, Snap's former vice president of US global business solutions, left the company when CEO Evan Spiegel elevated her to the role of chief business officer then rescinded the offer two days later.

Spiegel instead hired Jeremi Gorman, previously head of global advertising sales at Amazon, as Snap's new chief business officer.

The switch caused ripples in Snap's sales division and has eroded trust in Spiegel's decision-making, according to people familiar with the matter.

Herbst-Brady is the latest in a string of executives to leave Snap in recent months as the company contends with large financial losses, a plunging stock price, and a declining user base. Its stock has been trading at just over $5 since October 2018, going as low as $4.82 on December 21.

Imran Khan, who had served as Spiegel's top lieutenant as Snap's chief strategy officer, left the company in September. Other recent departures include Mary Ritti, former vice president of communications; Drew Vollero, former chief financial officer; Jeff Lucas, former head of sales; and Tom Conrad, who led the product team.

The company has brought onboard Amazon's former vice president of finance, Tim Stone, as CFO and former HuffPost CEO Jared Grusd as chief strategy officer to replace the departing execs.
